A Space For Focused Learning
Lessons take place in a private home studio in Yew Tee, thoughtfully designed to support well-rounded musical development. At the heart of the space is a Yamaha G3A grand piano, complemented by a digital piano connected to a digital audio workstation (DAW). This setup creates a versatile environment for both classical and contemporary learning.
In jazz and pop sessions, the digital piano brings ensemble playing to life—providing upright basslines, comping parts, and rhythmic support to simulate the experience of playing in a group. It also serves as a powerful teaching tool: by recording and analyzing a student’s playing within the DAW, lessons can highlight key details in timing, dynamics, and articulation—turning practice into insight and real musical progress.
